Parent-managed accounts

Only adults may create login accounts. Parents and guardians are responsible for account activity, for the child profile information they choose to provide, and for deciding whether generated content is suitable for their family.

Generated stories and narration

Stories, character suggestions, and narration are generated or assembled with automated systems. Results may occasionally be inaccurate, repetitive, incomplete, or unexpected. Parents should review content and stop playback when it is not appropriate.

TaleLumi is for creative entertainment. It must not be relied on for medical, legal, safety-critical, educational assessment, or emergency advice.

Your inputs

You are responsible for names, characters, interests, instructions, and other material you submit. Do not provide content you do not have permission to use, sensitive information that is unnecessary for storytelling, or material that is abusive, unlawful, or unsafe.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, obtain another family's records, disrupt the service, misuse generation features, or use TaleLumi to create harmful or exploitative content. We may restrict or suspend access when needed to protect families, the platform, or its providers.

Plans and payment

TaleLumi has a free plan with daily limits on stories and narration, and paid plans that lift those limits. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page.

Paid plans are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD) through Stripe, our payment processor. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, and continues until you cancel it.

If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.

If a renewal payment fails, we keep your access active while Stripe retries, so story time is not interrupted mid-week. If payment does not succeed after those retries, the subscription ends and the account returns to the free plan.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Settings, which opens the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that the account returns to the free plan. Stories you have already created remain in your account.

If you are in the EU or the UK: you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, and we honour that regardless of how much you have used in the meantime. Email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full.

Outside the EU and UK, we do not automatically refund unused time on a period you have already started. That said, if you were charged unexpectedly, could not use the service, or are simply unhappy with it, email us and we will look at it properly. We would rather refund someone than keep money they did not mean to spend.

To request a refund or ask a billing question, email TaleLumiApp@gmail.com from the address on the account. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically take five to ten business days to appear.

Availability and deletion

Features may change as the service improves, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Parents can delete individual profiles and stories and can request account deletion from settings, subject to limited retention needed for security or legal obligations.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as TaleLumi evolves. The date above identifies the latest version. These product terms are not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal review before commercial expansion.
